Beneficiaries

The operations selected for funding within the Programme shall include beneficiaries from both countries (i.e. each application shall involve at least two beneficiaries – one from Lithuania and one from Poland). Each operation must be implemented according to the so called lead beneficiary principle.

The partners to be eligible for the operations to be financed by the Programme shall be the following bodies:

• Public authorities (national institutions, regional and local authorities);

• Public equivalent bodies (legal bodies governed by public or private law);

• NGOs.

Detailed information regarding eligible beneficiaries shall be provided in the Programme Manual, which will be announced together with the Application package.
